My presentation is over Fast Fashion and how it effects our environment. Fast Fashion is a term used when speaking about cheaper made clothing that are mass produced. These cheaper pieces when disposed, are not disposed correctly. In fact, they are thrown into landfills. The reason why Fast Fashion is such an issue is because of this. These mass produced pieces being wasted, are the second cause of pollution, right after the oil industry. Overall, there are a lot of things that we can do to improve this from happening. Such as, buying from more sustainable companies. The ones to avoid these fast fashion pieces would be companies such as, GAP, Zara, Shein and Primark. All these companies are to be avoided because they only produce FADs, which are only in style for small amounts of time. When purchasing clothing, it’s not only the price tags that are important but it’s what they’re made of. You’re also paying the price of air pollution.
