WELCOME TO THE 2021 ENGINEERING GRADUATE RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM!

We are excited to have you join us for this college-wide celebration of graduate students and all that they have accomplished.

The event will be held May 5th–May 12th and there are several ways to participate. There will be an asynchronous showcase of the poster and slide presentations open through the entire event as well as two virtual live sessions. GRADUATE STUDENT POSTER AND SLIDE PRESENTATIONS

Graduate student poster and slide presentations will be available for asynchronous viewing May 5th–May 12th. This has been an unusual year and this event is a celebration of graduate student work. Presentations will be of varying formats and voiceover videos are optional. They may include finished results or work in progress. Please take some time during the event to engage with the presenters through the platform feedback feature. 

Feedback may also be submitted through the optional EGRS 2021 Feedback Form (google.com). This is a smaller event this year and we would like all presenters to receive feedback and feel supported. Providing feedback within the event platform will require registration (name and email address only!), however you may use the EGRS 2021 Feedback Form to share your feedback with our presenters. You will be prompted when you click on ‘Feedback’.

LIVE EVENTS – ZOOM!

Join us for one or both of the live events! While we are not able to meet in person, these sessions will be interactive opportunities for participants to connect with each other.

• MAY 10TH 1:00pm – 2:00pm EST Beyond Graduate School: Conversations with Industry Partners and Alumni
• MAY 12TH 11:00am – 12:00pm EST Discussion of Future Research Directions

OPTIONAL SECONDARY REGISTRATION – CREATE A PROFILE TILE

If you would like to have a profile visible throughout the event, you may take a few additional steps in registering for the 2021 EGRS. This extra process will allow all participants to see your name and the information you choose to share (institution, title, MSU Alum, contact information, etc.). If you leave feedback for a presenter, they can find your profile tile and learn more about you. More information on this process including a template is available on the 2021 EGRS website.
