Welcome to the 15th annual Mid-Michigan Symposium for Undergraduate Research Experiences (Mid-SURE) at Michigan State University (MSU). Mid-SURE 2025 will be a hybrid event with both in-person and virtual poster presentations. This event provides an opportunity for students involved in research and creative activities at MSU and other institutions in Michigan to share their work with their peers, faculty/staff, and external audiences. Thank you for joining us!

Navigating the Virtual Forum

View poster presentations via the "Presentations" tab at the top of the page. In this tab, you can search presentations by student name, category, or presentation number. Attendees can interact with presenters and ask questions using the "Comments" function on the presenter's page.

To comment on presentations, create a free account by using the "Sign Up" tab at the top of this page. Once an account is created, sign in and click on the "register" link in the presentation comment section. You must be signed into your account and registered for this event to access the comment function.

Provisional Land Acknowledgement

We collectively acknowledge that Michigan State University occupies the ancestral, traditional, and contemporary Lands of the Anishinaabeg – Three Fires Confederacy of Ojibwe, Odawa, and Potawatomi peoples. In particular, the University resides on Land ceded in the 1819 Treaty of Saginaw. We recognize, support, and advocate for the sovereignty of Michigan’s twelve federally-recognized Indian nations, for historic Indigenous communities in Michigan, for Indigenous individuals and communities who live here now, and for those who were forcibly removed from their Homelands. By offering this Land Acknowledgement, we affirm Indigenous sovereignty and will work to hold Michigan State University more accountable to the needs of American Indian and Indigenous peoples
