Hi Nick! Nice job on your presentation. As someone who used to play Doom as a young person and was in Junior High when Columbine happened, I was very interested in watching your presentation. I do remember the medias many attempts to directly associate violence/shooting in video games to school shootings over the last 20+ years. In your research, did you come across anything about how as parents/guardians can educate young people and create responsible gamers?

Hello! Huge Marilyn Manson fan here, been to two of his concerts lol! his topic fascinates me. It seems there are two extreme sides - one side says video games teaches violence, the other says that doesn't happen. Isn't it possible that they are both right? I have two children who play video games and neither of them would become violent because of games, but isn't it possible for a person with significant mental health issues to be affected by these games (or books or movies)? And if so is there a set of warning signs? And if parents know of a child who is susceptible to being influenced, or who is purposefully seeking out violent games, are there resources for parents?
