Hello! In Davis College, the Student Research and Creative Scholarship Day, established 29 years ago, is an annual event showcasing innovative research by undergraduate and graduate students across diverse fields in the Schools of Agriculture and Food Systems, Natural Resources and the Environment, and Community and Economic Development. This year, we are proud to include collaboration and expertise provided by our new unified colleagues in WVU Extension and the Center for Community Engagement. Students present their work through posters and oral presentations, facilitating a unique opportunity to engage directly, explore current challenges in these disciplines, and exchange ideas. We are excited to announce that this year’s event is scheduled for Thursday, April 9th, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will be held in the Agricultural Sciences Building on the Evansdale Campus, in room 4004, as well as the lobby, third floor, and potentially other spaces. This enriching experience fosters a deeper appreciation for the research shaping the future of vital fields across the DLGE.
