This research focuses on developing advanced smart glasses designed to enhance accessibility and convenience for users, particularly individuals with visual impairments. The smart glasses will integrate real-time object and face recognition, text-to-speech functionality, and wireless control of external devices. Utilizing the Jetson Nano microcontroller, the system will process data locally for fast and reliable performance. The glasses will also include Bluetooth and Wi-Fi modules for seamless communication with smart home devices. By combining these features, the project aims to create a wearable assistive technology that improves independent navigation and everyday interactions. The research will involve iterative testing to refine the system based on user feedback, ensuring optimal usability and effectiveness.
